Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 36
Follow signs towards Barrow (A590)
Approx. 3 miles, bear Left at roundabout, towards Barrow (A590)
At Newby Bridge roundabout, continue on towards Barrow (A590)
Approx. 3 miles after Newby Bridge, at Greenodd, turn right towards Workington (A5092)
Follow signs to Millom
At Grizebeck this road becomes the A595
Continue towards Millom
Pass through Foxfield and continue to traffic lights, crossing River Duddon at Duddon Bridge
Approx. 2 miles turn sharp Left (beside Church), signpost Hallthwaites
Continue to bottom of hill, around bends: Tenterfield is on your left at the bottom of the hamlet
(if you get to a small hump backed bridge, you have gone about 50m too far).
